Wax Melt Care
Wax Melt Care Guide
Welcome to your complete guide for getting the most out of your Energie Candle Studio wax melts. Follow these tips to enjoy a safe, long-lasting, and fragrant experience.
Using Your Flameless Warmer
- Place your wax warmer on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, children, and pets.
- Add 1–2 wax melt cubes to the dish of your warmer. Do not overfill.
- Use an electric or tea-light warmer designed for wax melts. Never use open flames directly on wax melts.
- Allow the wax to melt fully before moving the warmer.
- Turn off or unplug your warmer when leaving the room or going to sleep.
Fragrance & Scent Throw
- Wax melts release fragrance as they warm — you do not need to see smoke or steam for the scent to fill your space.
- Scent strength may fade after several uses. This is normal — simply swap out the wax for a fresh cube.
- Mixing complementary scents in the warmer dish is a great way to customize your fragrance experience.
Cleaning Your Warmer
- Allow the wax to cool and harden completely before cleaning.
- Pop out the hardened wax disc by gently pressing on one side — it should release cleanly.
- Alternatively, turn the warmer on briefly to slightly soften the wax, then wipe it away with a cotton ball or paper towel.
- Wipe the dish clean with a dry cloth before adding new wax melts.
- Never pour liquid wax down the drain.
Storage Tips
- Store unused wax melts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Keep them in their original packaging or an airtight container to preserve fragrance.
- Avoid storing wax melts in areas with strong competing odors, as they can absorb surrounding scents.
Safety Guidelines
- Never leave a warmer unattended for extended periods.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not add water, essential oils, or other liquids to the wax dish.
- Inspect your warmer regularly for cracks or damage and replace if needed.
- If using a tea-light warmer, never burn a tea light for more than 4 hours at a time.
